This new era follows the era of independence, freedom, building socialism, and innovation. In his closing remark at the 10th plenum of the Communist Party of Vietnam's Central Committee in the 13th term, General Secretary To Lam said that with the position and strength gained after 40 years of Doi Moi (Renovation), with the consensus and joint efforts of the Party, people, and army, with new opportunities and advantages, under the leadership of the Party, Vietnam has all the necessary conditions to enter a new era, an era of nation's rise.
