"The friendly relationship between the people of Vietnam and Singapore over the past 50 years has been built on a foundation of trust and mutual respect, and has been nurtured through regular exchanges between the two peoples," said Lam Dung Tien, head of Vietnam-Singapore Friendship Association in Ho Chi Minh City (VSFA) at the celebration of the 78th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (2/91945- 2/9/2023), 50 years of Vietnam-Singapore relations, and 10 years of strategic partnership between the two countries.

Da Nang organized vibrant and rich people-to-people exchange activities to promote relations between the peoples of the two countries. Since then, the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam-Japan, and Da Nang city with Japanese localities particularly has deepened.

On the occasion of the 50th establishing anniversary of Vietnam - Singapore diplomatic relations, 10 years of strategic partnership, Singaporean Ambassador to Vietnam Jaya Ratnam assessed some of the key cooperation sectors where the two sides can learn from each other’s experiences and identified areas where the two sides can cooperate for mutual benefits

Vietnam and Cambodia agreed to focus on enhancing people-to-people exchanges, especially through tourism and sports activities such as the SEA Games, fostering the traditional friendship between the two countries and contributing to ASEAN solidarity.

Many international delegates attending the 2023 International Friendship Exchange expressed their excitement in the trip to the Fansipan peak of Vietnam.

The Ho Chi Minh city's Vietnam-France Friendship Association affirmed their willingness to cooperate with the Consulate General of France and the French community to organise a diverse range of events that can help to boost engagement between the two peoples.
