The Ministry of Health has cautioned Covid-19 patients not to come into contact with pets as there's evidence the novel coronavirus is capable of infecting animals.

Decree 14/2021/ND-CP issued by the Government regulates the sanctioning of administrative violations of livestock, taking effect from April 20 states that cruelly torturing on pets will be fine up to 3 million VND (130 USD).
