When the UK-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (UKVFTA) took effect, Vietnamese goods gradually gained the attention of British importers and consumers.

At the meeting with the Vietnamese Ambassador to the UK, the Speaker of the House of Commons said that Vietnam is an important partner of the UK, especially in the post-Brexit UK and the two countries implementing UKVFTA.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has said the UK is among leading economic partners of Vietnam in Europe.
