Significant progress in Viet Nam-Denmark relations in recent times, from promoting Danish investment projects in Viet Nam to strengthening people-to-people exchanges and local-level cooperation, has been made with the contributions of Ambassador Nicolai Prytz. In recognition of these contributions, on May 19 in Hanoi, the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations awarded the “For peace and friendship among nations” Medal to the Ambassador.

The Embassy of Denmark in Viet Nam, in coordination with the Viet Nam-Denmark Friendship Association (VIDAFA), held the award ceremony and exhibition for the “Denmark in Your Eyes” 2025–2026 contest on April 2 in Ha Noi. With the theme “Green Living,” this year’s contest attracted more than 130,000 entries from primary and secondary school students nationwide, the highest number to date.
