On the morning of August 26, in Xuan Huong Ward, Da Lat, Lam Dong, the "Rencontres du Vietnam" science and education organization awarded 155 Vallet scholarships, worth nearly 3 billion VND, to disadvantaged students.

2,100 Vallet scholarships with a total value of VND 40 billion are planned for Vietnamese pupils and students in Vietnam

Since 2001, more than 42,000 Vallet scholarships have so far been presented to Vietnamese students with a total value of nearly VND 250 billion (USD 10.7 million). The scholarship is named after a famous French Prof. Odon Vallet which is presented to the students with excellent academic results.
