Vibrant Vietnamese Community Football Tournament Held in Chubu Region (Japan)
The tournament was organized by the Viet Nam-Japan International Exchange Organization (FAVIJA), under the patronage of the Embassy of Viet Nam in Japan and the Government of Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan.

| On October 4, the Vietnamese Community Football Tournament in Japan’s Chubu region - “FAVIJA CHUBU CUP 2026” took place at Otagawa Kasenjiki Park football field in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, featuring a lively atmosphere and exciting matches. FAVIJA CHUBU CUP 2026 brought together 16 amateur football teams selected from nearly 30 teams that registered to participate. The teams represented Vietnamese communities studying, working and living in prefectures across Japan’s Chubu region. Alongside Vietnamese players, the tournament also featured several Japanese players. |
The 2026 Vietnamese Community Football Tournament in the Russian Federation officially kicked off on June 22 in Moscow. More than just an annual sporting event, the tournament has become a meaningful community cultural activity, helping to connect Vietnamese people living far from home while promoting a positive image of the community in the host country. |
On August 30, the Vietnamese community football tournament in the Tokai region was held at Koshido Stadium in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, in celebration of the 81st anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2026). |
