On September 21, a delegation representing the Executive Committee of the Viet Nam-Armenia Friendship Association, led by Duong Manh Cuong, Vice President of the Association, visited the Embassy of Armenia in Viet Nam, presenting a flower basket and a congratulatory message from the Association.

In the congratulatory message sent to Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Viet Nam Suren Baghdasaryan, President of the Viet Nam-Armenia Friendship Association Nguyen Van Thuan extended his congratulations to the Ambassador, officials and staff of the Embassy, and the people of Armenia. He congratulated Armenia and its people on the achievements made over the past 35 years and expressed his confidence that Armenia would continue to achieve new accomplishments in the process of national construction and development.

The congratulatory message emphasised that the traditional friendship between Viet Nam and Armenia has been built on mutual understanding, affection and similarities between the two peoples. According to the message, during Viet Nam’s struggle for independence, national reunification and defence of the Fatherland, the Armenian people provided Viet Nam with valuable support and assistance. These sentiments have always been cherished and remembered by generations of Vietnamese people.

Nguyen Van Thuan said the Viet Nam-Armenia Friendship Association would continue to work closely with the Embassy of Armenia in Viet Nam to organise friendship and cooperation activities, contributing to greater mutual understanding, affection and friendship between the peoples of the two countries.
