In the condolence book, Dong Huy Cuong wrote:

“The Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations and its member organizations at the central and local levels would like to extend our deepest and most sincere condolences to the Government and people of Kazakhstan, as well as the families of the military personnel who died while on duty in Mangystau Province. We deeply share in their loss and wish those who were injured a speedy recovery.

We are confident that the Government and people of Kazakhstan will soon overcome this loss.”

Earlier, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev declared September 25, 2026 a National Day of Mourning to commemorate the military personnel who died while carrying out their duties in Mangystau Province.

General Secretary and President Calls for Expanded Vietnam-Canada People-to-people Exchanges General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and President To Lam called on members of the Canada-Vietnam Friendship Association to work more closely with the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations and the Vietnam-Canada Friendship Association, and continue to enhance their role as a bridge between the two peoples.
