Vinamilk’s Journey to Build a Better Future for Vietnamese Children
Beyond providing nutritious dairy products to local children, the event offered opportunities for students to play, stay active, explore new knowledge, and dream about their future. The program continues the nearly two-decade journey of the Vietnam Rising Milk Fund, expanding children's access to nutrition nationwide while supporting the vision of a healthier, stronger, and more well-rounded generation of Vietnamese children.
A Festival of Dreams
On the morning of August 2, 2026, the campus of An Hiep Primary School – Gan Reo Campus in Hiep Thanh Commune came alive as more than 500 preschool and primary school students joined Vietnam Rising Day.

During the event, more than 20,000 Vinamilk ADM nutritional products were donated to local students, providing quality nutrition as they prepare for the new academic year. Vinamilk ADM nutritional milk contains 23 essential nutrients for children's growth, including vitamin A, DHA, calcium, vitamin D3, zinc, selenium, and other key micronutrients that support physical development, strengthen immunity, and improve learning performance.
Parents can also feel more confident choosing Vinamilk ADM, as the product has passed more than 400 rigorous testing criteria covering manufacturing conditions—including product testing, ingredient disclosure, and raw material risk assessments—as well as product quality requirements, such as the absence of heavy metal residues and microplastic contamination. The product has earned certification from the Clean Label Project, an independent U.S.-based testing organization recognized for food safety and purity.
The event is part of the Vietnam Rising Milk Fund, a program launched in 2008 by Vinamilk and the Vietnam Children's Fund to expand children's access to nutrition and help create a stronger foundation for their healthy and well-rounded development.

Home to many ethnic minority communities and facing uneven development across different areas, Hiep Thanh Commune has long prioritized improving children's access to nutrition, education, and holistic development opportunities. In this context, support from organizations such as the Vietnam Rising Milk Fund plays an especially meaningful role.
“The milk cartons presented today carry more than material value. They represent the care, compassion, and responsibility that our community shares for the younger generation. This valuable support will help improve children's nutrition and health while providing them with greater opportunities to study, grow, and develop,” said Nguyen Quang Hiep, Chairman of the Hiep Thanh Commune People's Committee.
Beyond nutritional support, this year's Vietnam Rising Day featured a series of interactive activities designed to encourage every child to explore, learn, and grow. Students participated in themed zones such as Strong Nutrition, Growing Minds, Active Movement, and Dream Big, where they joined physical challenges, learned new skills, and shared their aspirations for the future.
One of the highlights was an artificial intelligence (AI) experience that allowed children to visualize themselves in their dream careers. Using photos taken during the event, AI generated images of the students dressed as their future professions. Many children were excited to see what their future selves might look like.
“I really enjoyed today's festival. I got to sing, dance, release balloons, and play with my friends. The biggest surprise was seeing myself as a doctor in the future. I'll study hard so I can become a real doctor one day,” said Le Tran Khanh An, a fourth-grade student at An Hiep Primary School.
According to Nguyen Hanh Phuc, Chairman of Vinamilk's Board of Directors, helping children grow up healthier, more confident, and more optimistic about the future has always been one of the company's goals throughout the nearly two decades of operating the Vietnam Rising Milk Fund.
“Alongside providing quality nutrition, we hope to work with the community to create more opportunities for children to receive better care, achieve more balanced development, and gain greater confidence as they grow. When children have a strong nutritional foundation, better learning conditions, and encouragement to pursue their dreams, they have more opportunities to succeed in the future,” he said.
Established in 2008 under the leadership of the Vietnam Children's Fund with the support of Vinamilk, the Vietnam Rising Milk Fund was created to expand children's access to nutrition and help them grow up healthier, more confident, and better prepared for the future.

Over nearly 20 years, the program has reached every province and city across Vietnam, providing more than 43 million nutritional products worth nearly VND210 billion to over 550,000 children. In 2026 alone, Vinamilk committed to donating 500,000 cartons of milk, valued at VND3.5 billion, benefiting approximately 11,000 children nationwide.
Behind these figures is a long-standing commitment that has continued across generations. From mountain schools in northern Vietnam to remote rural communities, coastal areas, islands, and care centers for disadvantaged children, the program has consistently delivered nutritional support based on one simple belief: every child deserves the opportunity to grow up healthier and stronger.
This sustained effort was recently recognized with a Certificate of Merit from Vietnam's Ministry of Health during Vinamilk's special anniversary program, “50 Years – Serving Vietnam's Aspirations.”
According to Dinh Tien Hai, Director of the Vietnam Children's Fund, the greatest value of the Vietnam Rising Milk Fund extends beyond nutrition. It is about ensuring that children receive care, encouragement, and greater confidence as they grow.
“What began with the simple goal of ensuring every Vietnamese child could enjoy a glass of milk each day has, over nearly two decades, become one of the country's longest-running and largest nutrition programs for children. It has consistently brought milk to children across Vietnam, giving them not only better nutrition but also the confidence to pursue bigger dreams,” he said.

Over the past two decades, the Vietnam Rising Milk Fund has done more than deliver millions of cartons of milk. It has helped narrow nutritional disparities between regions while creating better opportunities for children throughout the country.
For Vietnam to become a stronger and more prosperous nation, it is essential to ensure that every child grows up healthy, confident, and equipped to reach their full potential. That is also how Vinamilk has continued to fulfill its mission of “Serving Vietnam's Aspirations” throughout its 50-year journey.
