Nearly 960 artists from 17 domestic and four foreign troupes (the Art Troupe from the Kingdom of Cambodia, Laos National Art Troupe, Myanmar Art Troupe and Thailand Art Troupe) are scheduled to stage 221 performances, featuring the traditional cultural characteristics of each participating country.
The festival is jointly organized by the department, the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the International Cooperation Department, the Vietnam Dancers’ Association and the Vietnam Composers’ Association.
It is meant to strengthen friendship and cooperation among ASEAN member countries, giving Vietnam an opportunity to popularize its art, land and people to neighboring countries.

It also offers a chance for the artists to share and exchange their performance experiences.
The festival follows several successful events that were held in the province in previous years, such as the Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam Art Festival and the Trans–Asia Road and Indochinese Music Festival./.
