According to the VNA correspondent in Thailand, on July 18 and 19, the Party cell of Vietnamese students and the overseas Vietnamese Student Association in Thailand coordinated to hold the “Journey to the roots 2026 - Tracing Thau Chin’s footsteps” program in Phitsanulok and Phichit provinces, with the participation of 23 overseas Vietnamese students from various Thai universities.

At Naresuan University, Phitsanulok province, the delegation met with Vietnamese and Thai students studying the Vietnamese language here. “Ring the golden bell” program on the life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh, particularly the period when He carried out revolutionary activities in Thailand under the alias Thau Chin, contributed to strengthening understanding of history, culture, and the friendship between Vietnam and Thailand.

The delegation then visited the Ban Dong Ho Chi Minh Museum in Phichit province, laid flowers in tribute to President Ho Chi Minh, and learned about the patriotic movement of the Vietnamese community in Thailand. These activities aimed to educate young people about traditions, foster patriotism, and a sense of responsibility towards the homeland and country.

As part of the program, delegates also explored local culture and religion through a visit to a temple in Phichit province.

The programme is an occasion to strengthen exchanges and solidarity among overseas Vietnamese students in Thailand, while contributing to educating about history and tradition, and nurturing friendship between the people of Vietnam and Thailand.

Applying Ho Chi Minh's Ideology to People-to-People Diplomacy in Can Tho Throughout his revolutionary life, President Ho Chi Minh paid special attention to people-to-people diplomacy. Not only did he lay the foundation for Viet Nam’s revolutionary diplomacy, but he also pioneered and developed a system of ideology on people-to-people diplomacy with profound strategic, humanitarian, and contemporary value. Today, these ideas remain an important theoretical foundation and guiding principle for Viet Nam's people-to-people diplomacy in the era of international integration. They also serve as the basis for the Can Tho Union of Friendship Organizations to continuously innovate and improve the quality of its work, contributing to the effective implementation of the Party’s and State’s foreign policy.

Honoring President Ho Chi Minh’s Legacy in France On June 27, in Montreuil, France, the Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace, in coordination with the Embassy of Vietnam in France and the Vietnam Cultural Center in France, organized a series of cultural and academic activities to honor the legacy of President Ho Chi Minh. The events marked the 115th anniversary of young patriot Nguyen Tat Thanh’s departure in search of a path to national salvation (June 5, 1911 - June 5, 2026) and the 80th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s state visit to France as the guest of honor of the French Government (1946-2026).
