Ly Nha Ky becomes Honorary Consul of Romania in HCM City
Vietnamese actress and former Tourism Ambassador Ly Nha Ky has been appointed an Honorary Consul of Romania in Ho Chi Minh City.

Ly Nha Ky wears a traditional Romanian costume at the announcement ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City on June 6th.
The position is based on the need to develop and enhance bilateral relations between Romania and Vietnam in various fields. This year also marks the 68th anniversary of the countries’ diplomatic ties.
At the ceremony, Romanian Ambassador to Vietnam Valeriu Arteni said the position suits Ky’s abilities as she had a year of experience as the Tourism Ambassador of Vietnam.
The beauty said she is very confident and ready to fulfill her four-year mission, helping to promote the ties of friendship and cooperation between Romania and Vietnam, and Ho Chi Minh City in particular. She also pledged closer coordination with the Romanian Embassy in Hanoi.
The actress will promote tourism and culture as the first move in her role as Honorary Consul.
Currently, Ky is also the founder and president of the Vietnam Health- Education Development Fund (VN HEDF)./.
