Over VND2.54 billion to phase out small capacity vessels in Da Nang
The Da Nang city People’s Committee has decided to advance more than VND2.54 billion to reducing the number of less than 20CV capacity fishing vessels and motor boats exploiting fishery in the 2016-2020 period.

Accordingly, the budget will be allocated to Cam Le district (VND200 million), Hai Chau district (VND320 million), Lien Chieu district (VND935 million), Son Tra district (VND660 million), and Thanh Khe district (VND430 million).
By 2020, Da Nang should have no more than 150 vessels of less than 20CV, from the current number of 777.
Besides, it will draw VND23.47 billion to purchase the vessels and support job shifting for 1,200 workers./.
