A volunteer event was held on February 27 at Cam Tu Kindergarten (Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City) with the participation of 36 volunteers from KYOWON Group, ChildFund Korea and the children from Cam Tu Kindergarten.

The volunteer team named "KYOWON Volunteer Group" includes staff and senior managers of KYOWON and ChildFund Korea to work to enhance understanding of the kindergarten project in Binh Tan District, supporting implementing activities focused on children and cultural exchanges, contributing to ensuring children's access to education.

The children of Cam Tu Kindergarten had the opportunity to perform to celebrate volunteer groups, cultural exchanges and take photos with KYOWON Volunteer Team. After the welcome ceremony, the team of volunteers together painted the walls and decorated the campus so that the children could have a better learning environment.

In the afternoon, the volunteers performed interesting magic tricks for the children before return to RoK.

KYOWON Group has donated 20 sets of books to Cam Tu Kindergarten, helping teachers and children of the school to gain new knowledge, to teach and learn better. The volunteer team also translated "Story Phonics", a set of English textbooks of KyoWon Group into Vietnamese.

Sharing the meaning of the event, Jang Pyeong Soon, KYOWON Group CEO, said: "KYOWON Group is implementing educational programs to contribute to society with the belief that all children need to have the same education and help them become future talents. Therefore, we have conducted volunteer activities and kindergartens projects to help Vietnamese children develop their talents through educational projects for children.”

This volunteer event is one of a series of activities that KYOWON supports to build a kindergarten in Binh Tan District through ChildFund Korea and ActionAid Vietnam, contributing to ensuring children's access to education./.
