The 2026 Asia–Pacific Economic Forum to Be Held in Beijing, China

In 2026, China will host the 33rd Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders’ Meeting in November 2026 in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, under the theme “Building a Prosperous Asia-Pacific Community.” This year’s forum focuses on the priorities of openness, innovation, and cooperation.

In this spirit, under the patronage of Vietnam's Association of Foreign Invested Enterprises (VAFIE), with media sponsorship from The Vietnam Times Magazine – the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, and in coordination with relevant agencies and organizations, the “Fifth Asia–Pacific Economic Forum 2026” will be held under the theme “Investment Cooperation – Brand Development” from 30 May to 2 June 2026 in Beijing, China. The Forum is expected to expand regional cooperation opportunities and contribute to promoting Vietnamese values within Asia’s dynamic economic landscape.

This is an annual event held on a rotational basis among countries in the region. The Forum brings together hundreds of enterprises, investors, and experts from Viet Nam, China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, and other economies, along with numerous international economic organizations. It provides a platform for networking, experience sharing, and advancing investment cooperation initiatives and brand development across the region.

This year’s event aims to promote trade and expand connectivity networks among the Asia–Pacific business community, thereby contributing to the enhancement of competitiveness and progressively affirming the position of Vietnamese enterprises in the regional market.

According to the Organizing Committee, the Forum features participation from a wide range of key economic sectors, including finance and banking; industrial real estate; industrial manufacturing (electronics and electrical equipment, mechanical engineering, and machinery production); logistics; insurance; oil and gas; artificial intelligence (AI); pharmaceuticals and cosmetics; high-tech agriculture; culture, tourism and services; healthcare; and import–export, among others.

Beyond serving as a networking platform, the Forum also provides opportunities for Vietnamese enterprises to engage in exchanges, share management experience, foster innovation, and expand market development. In doing so, it helps elevate the value of Vietnamese brands and strengthen the confidence of partners, investors, and consumers both domestically and internationally.

Through the 5th Asia–Pacific Economic Forum,” the Organizing Committee aims to identify and honor pioneering enterprises and entrepreneurs who promote equal business opportunities and contribute to building a diverse and sustainable economy that harmonizes economic, social, and environmental objectives.

At the Forum, recognition activities for enterprises and entrepreneurs will be conducted under the following award categories:

Master Leader/Entrepreneur of the New Era Award

Registration Procedures:

Application submission deadline (in the prescribed format): no later than 20 April 2026.

Submission dossier for evaluation includes: two (02) application forms; financial reports or financial data for the most recent two years; a corporate/entrepreneur profile; and relevant images and/or certificates of the enterprise/entrepreneur.

Program dates: 30 May – 2 June 2026.
