Vietnamese Naval Service's Delegation Visits Officers, Soldiers on DK1 Righouse
The official delegation led by Deputy Chief of the Staff of the Vietnam People's Navy Rear Admiral Tran Ngoc Quyet completed a successful visit to Truong Sa island district (Khanh Hoa) and the DK1 righouse of the Third Mission on the fishing boat KN491 with many meaningful activities to strengthen the relationship between the People's Naval Service and the local people.

The working visit took place from April 10 to 15 with the participation of more than 200 delegates. Along with the delegation leader Deputy Chief of the Staff of the Vietnam People's Navy Rear Admiral Tran Ngoc Quyet, there were Lai Xuan Mon, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee for Propaganda and Training, member of the Party Central Committee, Lai Xuan Mon, Deputy Head of the Central Committee for Internal Affairs Nguyen Thai Hoc, and Director of the People's Security Academy, Lieutenant General Le Van Thang.
During the visit, the delegation held meetings, gave gifts, studied results of the task of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands. They also listen to the sharings from the soldiers and local people at 5 Island points in the Truong Sa archipelago include Song Tu Tay, Sinh Ton, Co Lin, Da Dong A, Truong Sa and DK1/12 rig house (Tu Chinh).
The visit encouraged the soldiers and people of the island district and those at the DK1 rig house to overcome all difficulties, stay firmly their important positions, successfully complete the task of firmly protecting the sovereignty of the sea, islands and the sacred spirit of the Fatherland.

On June 26th, the Steering Committee for the Search, Collection, and Identification of Martyrs' Remains in Quang Tri Province (the Steering Committee) launched its 2026-2027 dry season mission amidst a growing scarcity of information regarding martyrs' burial sites. Local authorities will mobilize various resources, intensify data collection, collect biological samples, digitize information, and expand domestic and international cooperation to enhance the effectiveness of the search and identification of martyrs' remains.
On July 6, Bastien Rebotton, a 29-year-old from France's southeastern Savoie region, will set off on a 19,000-kilometre cycling journey to Vietnam.
