44 Vietnamese candidates join ASEAN Skills Competition
Forty-four Vietnamese candidates are competing in 22 of 25 official skills at the 11th ASEAN Skills Competition held in Malaysia September 19th-29th.

This year, the ASEAN Skills Competition sees the participation of nearly 280 candidates and 214 experts coming from 9 ASEAN member countries.
Vietnamese candidates will have to compete with candidates coming from countries that are strong in skills competitions such as Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia; and countries that are developed in vocational skills such as Singapore and the Philippines.
To prepare for the competition, 90 domestic and international experts have trained the candidates to help update them with the latest knowledge for the competition.
In the 2014 ASEAN Skills Competition held in Vietnam, the Vietnamese delegation gained impressive achievements with 16 gold medals, 7 silver medals and 7 bronze medals./.
