AFV, TFCF supports young students of immigrants families in HCMC
According to a survey implemented by ActionAid Vietnam and AFV in collaboration with the People’s Committee of Binh Tan district in 2018, 33% of people in Binh Tan encountered difficulties in getting access to quality education for their children due to a variety of issues: long distance between home and school, lack of classrooms and financial barriers that hindered them from paying tuition fee.
The Child Sponsorship programme is the first milestone of a long-term partnership between TFCF and AFV, in the mutual effort to address the aforementioned problems, promote children’s rights in school, support young students with a friendly and quality learning environment, and share the burdens with immigrants families living in Binh Tan district.
