Australian Embassy launches contest themed 'Technologies for equality" on Facebook
To celebrate International Women’s Day on 8 March 2019, the Australian Embassy in Vietnam launches a competition on facebook themed "Technologies for equality".
To participate in the competition, Facebook user will leave a comment, expressing their feedback on the best inventions, innovations or technologies that have transformed Vietnamese or Australian women’s lives. This could be anything from the humble rice cooker, to phone banking, or the Grab app emergency function.
The three ideas with the most likes at 10am on March 4, 2019 will be featured on the Facebook page of Australian Embassy and win a book about Australia’s best innovations and inventions. There will also be a book prize for the idea that Australian Embassy staff votes as their favourite.
