Australian technology provides low-cost, clean water in Khanh Hoa
Australian companies Evoqua Membranes and SkyJuice on November 4 launched an advanced, low cost technology water treatment system in Cam Thanh Bac elementary school in Khanh Hoa province.

Making water available more cheaply is a critical part of expanding access to clean water. Today, Australian companies Evoqua Membranes and SkyJuice launched an advanced, low cost technology water treatment system in Cam Thanh Bac elementary school in Khanh Hoa province.
The system will supply 10,000 litres per day of safe drinking water to teachers and students. This is one of 10 water systems the Australian Government has supported in Khanh Hoa, Son La and Dong Thap, in partnership with the Australian Water Association, the National Centre for Rural Water Supply and Sanitation and provincial Centres for Rural Water Supply and Sanitation.
The treatment systems aim to demonstrate the viability of expanding rural water supply through the application of advanced, low cost technology.
