First Master Program in Korean language launched
The first Master Program in Korean language was recently inaugurated in the University of Languages and International Study (ULIS), Hanoi National University (VNU).

Rector of ULIS, Dr. Do Tuan Minh, Head of the Korea Foundation in Hanoi, Woo Hyoung Min, President of the Scientific Research on Korea in Vietnam, Prof.Dr. Mai Ngoc Chu attended the event.
In 2018, ULIS welcomes the first batch of students pursueing Master program in Korean language. The course has so far admitted 9 students for the first phase and 4 for the second phase. Among 13 selected candidates, there are 2 from Da Nang university, 3 from Samsung Electro – Mechanics Vietnam.
According to Dr. Huynh Anh Tuan, Head of the Faculty of Graduate Studies or ULIS, the Master program in Korean language focuses on both research and application. The course consists of 16-18 modules, 65 credits, which is estimated to be completed in 24 months, and learners can request for extension of 12 to 24 months.
The program is led by high-profiled lecturers from credible universities in Korea and Vietnam, said Tuan./.
