Ha Giang province increases Party leadership over preferential credit policies
Over the past years, the Ha Giang provincial Party Committee has pushed up the realization of Decree 40 of the Party Central Committee Secretary on increasing the Party leadership over social credit policies.
Thanks to loans from the Bank for Social Policies, many families in Tien Nguyen commune, Quang Binh district have invested in the production and breeding industry that provides excellent returns on their investment and helps to reduce poverty. (Photo: nhandan.org.vn)
Since 2011, families who live in and near the poverty line in the province has received loans worth over VND936 billion from the Bank for Social Policies. The loans, at a preferential interest rate, have contributed to reduce the poverty rate from 30.12% In 2012 to 20% in 2015.
To continue to efficiently realise the social policies and ensure social welfare, the province will carry out policies on sustainable poverty reduction, attract investment and seek increasingly perse and external sources of capital.
The province has also worked with relevant ministries and agencies to promptly issue documents instructing the program on loans for job creation based on the Government’s decree 61/2015/ND-CP dated July 9th./.
