Hanoi hits more VND500 billion after three days of opening walking streets
After three days of opening walking streets around Hoan Kiem lake area, revenue from tourism of Hanoi hits VND 526 billion, increase 22% compared to the same period of 2015.

On 5th September, Hanoi Department of Tourism reported the situation of tourists to Hanoi in 3 days (from 2nd – 3rd September). Namely, Hanoi greets 207.236 tourist arrivals, in which international tourists reach 22.236 (an increase of 11% compared to the same period of 2015), domestic tourists reach 185.000 (an increase of 23% over the same period in 2015).
Hanoi Department of Tourism assessed , 3-day National Day holiday and walking space around Hoan Kiem lake area encourage tourists to Hanoi.
The organ asked accommodation establishment and travel business to conduct price stabilization of services before, during and after the holiday and prevented hotel rooms and service from hoarding and overcharging.
However, Hanoi Department of Tourism also pointed out some of existing issues, such as street vendors, environmental sanitation. The number of people accessing wifi much greater than capable of providing causes network congestion, affecting service quality./.
