Ho Chi Minh City to integrate into smart city
On July 17, the British Consulate-General has signed two MoUs with Department of Construction and Department of Transport in Ho Chi Minh City to work hand in hand towards the implementation of Future Cities programme under the UK Government’s Prosperity Fund.
Within the project framework, UK Government will collaborate with Ho Chi Minh City to improve Smart Ticketing System For Public Transports including existing bus network and future MRT, BRT, etc, which make the public transports more convenient and accessible.
Besides, boths side will work to develop the Geographical Information System for Drainage System. This will set a platform for authority to manage and forecast the flood in city./.
