India on Thursday successfully test-fired the Agni-4 medium-range from the Integrated Test Range at Chandipur in Odisha, the Defence Ministry said.

The test was carried out under the aegis of the Strategic Forces Command, which is responsible for the country’s strategic forces.
The successive tests show that India is accelerating the modernization of its strategic missile forces while strengthening its self-reliance in the research, development, production, and operation of high-tech weapons systems.
