According to Hoang Anh Tuan, Vietnamese Ambassador to Indonesia, the return of fishermen on boat is the safest and most effective way of transporting such a large number of fishermen to Vietnam.
If they were transported by airlines, the fishermen wouldn’t be back to the country until the end of this year.
