Over 180 invited guests, who are high-ranking delegates, and top international businesspeople and experts in international tourism and communications sectors, will gather at the Great Hall of the resort’s The Summit conference centre for the year’s most eagerly anticipated event for tourism sector.
Graham Cooke, chairman of WTAs, said they chose InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort to host the event, which is considered the Oscars of tourism, because of the spectacular natural beauty, luxurious amenities and world class services, adding “Hopefully, it will set a great impression for guests at the event.”
According to Sungroup, by hosting this international event, the resort will affirm its prestige and reputation in the world, as well as make Da Nang, and Vietnam as a whole, into a list of luxury destinations on the global holiday tourism map. In addition, the invited guests will be considered tourism ambassadors who will advertise the beautiful images of Da Nang, and Vietnam in general, to international tourism community.
The InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort is located on the Son Tra Peninsula and was designed by world-renowned architect Bill Bensley, who is among the world’s top five architects. It combines Vietnamese aesthetic values and cultural characteristics with international luxury and sophistication.
Since operations began in June 2012, the resort has welcomed thousands of international visitors, including world famous superstars and politicians.
