Japanese grant aid for human resource development scholarship 2015
(VNF) - The Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam and Japan International Cooperation Agency on August 19th launched the application process for Japanese grant aid for human resource development scholarship (JDS) 2015.
Vietnamese young and highly capable government officials who are expected to contribute to nation’s socio-economic development should be sent their applications by 17:00 on October 23rd, 2015 to the JDS project office in Vietnam or visit JDS official website.

Funded by the Government of Japan through Official Development Assistance, the JDS program has been implemented in Vietnam since 2000 and has dispatched 454 JDS Vietnamese fellows to Japan up to now. Within the new framework from 2014 to 2017, this year’s scholarship provides two-year Master courses in various study fields including economics, urban development, energy, agriculture, environment, legal system, and public administration.
At maximum 30 successful final candidates will be selected by early March 2016 and be dispatched to Japan in August 2016.
Candidates are advised to enjoy JDS information sessions which will be held in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh city, Can Tho, Hai Phong, Da Nang and Hue in August and September 2015./.
