For his part, the Vietnamese Ambassador vowed to do his utmost to foster the friendship and multi-faceted collaboration between Vietnam and Mexico.
He said he believes that the multi-faceted cooperation will grow further, based on the existing good relations, particularly since the meeting between the Presidents of the two countries within the framework of the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week in Vietnam’s Da Nang City in November 2017 and after the two countries sign and ratify the CPTPP.
Vietnam and Mexico set up diplomatic ties on May 19, 1975. Two-way trade has enjoyed an average annual growth of around 10 percent, standing at over 5 billion USD in 2017./.
