In addition, the My Duc district People’s Committee is proposing the Hanoi city People’s Committee open a subsidized bus route to Huong pagoda in order to facilitate travel and attract more tourists to the site. Currently, relevant agencies completed building plans and surveying infrastructure, and the operation of the bus route is expected to start in time to serve this year’s festival.
Aiming to ensure security and order for the 2016 event, the organizing board prepared traffic management plans for crowded days or halted transportation of passengers by cable. The locality prepared nearly 4,400 boats and trained boat rowers on water security to provide the best services for visitors.
The organizing board also pledged to strictly punish those overcharging tourists and urged trade owners to guarantee food hygiene.
The festival set to open on February 13th./.
