Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his spouse left Hanoi on June 22  for the 34th ASEAN Summit scheduled for June 22-23 in Bangkok, Thailand at the invitation of Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-o-cha.

They were accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh, and Minister and Chairman of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung.

The delegation also comprised Deputy Minister of Public Security Bui Van Nam, Vietnamese Ambassador to Thailand Pham Hai Bang, Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Quoc Dung, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Quoc Khanh and assistant to the PM Bui Huy Hung.

The 34th ASEAN Summit will have the theme of “Advancing Partnership for Sustainability”.

The ASEAN groups Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam./.
