Opening the festival's grand finale, Macedos Pirotecnia presented "United Horizon - A symphony of convergence," a performance portraying Da Nang as a place where nature, culture, and innovation come together.

Combining aerial shells, comet fireworks, Roman candles, and an array of meticulously choreographed lighting effects, the display illuminated the skies above the Han River in perfect synchronization with the musical score. Through the language of fireworks, the Portuguese team conveyed a message of connection among cultures, promoting peace and development.

Jiangxi Yangfeng Art Display of China, making its third appearance in the DIFF final, also delivered an impressive performance featuring multi-layered visual effects, seamless scene transitions, and a masterful use of the distinctive characteristics of each type of firework. A highlight of the display was a fireworks formation depicting a bridge—the iconic symbol of Da Nang, representing the connection between cultures. The accompanying soundtrack blended various musical genres, including Vietnamese melodies, adding a distinctive touch to the performance.

Following the two spectacular performances, the judging panel awarded the DIFF 2026 championship to Macedos Pirotecnia (Portugal). The winning team received a prize of USD 20,000, along with a trophy and certificate, while the runner-up was awarded USD 10,000, as well as a trophy and certificate.
