Press award on sustainable development launched
The Institute for Research on Development Communication (RED Communication), the Canadian Ministry of Global Affairs (GAC) and the Office for Sustainable Development of the Ministry of Planning and Investment launched an award entitled “Journalism for sustainable development” in 2018.

Accordingly, press works related to gender and environment, which were published on online newspapers and magazines between Jan. 1 and Oct. 31 this year, are eligible to be considered for the award.
Works related to gender equality must address several critical issues such as gender discrimination, family and gender violence, women’s involvement in all walks of social life, child protection and so on. Meanwhile, press works related to the environment have to focus on environmental protection, natural resource exploration, sustainable energy development and marine waste.
All entries should be sent to http://jsd.phattrien.vn. According to the organizing board, the A prize will be worth VND 20 million./.
