Sapa terraced fields among top 30 beautiful places globally

According to the website, there are many mesmerizing scenes that can be found throughout Southeast Asia, but it would be regretful if the Sapa terraced fields of Vietnam were not mentioned.

The people have been doing the seemingly impossible for millennia: growing rice – which requires a flat surface and a lot of water – in mountainous areas. The terraced paddy fields not only yield substantial crops of the widely consumed staple, but are a gorgeous sight to behold.

The website also suggested August and September is an ideal time for visitors to discover Sapa.
