Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee Ha Thi Nga Assigned to Party Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Mass Organizations

On June 30, the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) and central mass organizations held a conference to announce the Politburo’s decision on personnel appointments. The conference was chaired by Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the VFF and central mass organizations and President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Do Van Chien.

At the conference, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Organization Commission Do Trong Hung conveyed the conclusion of the Politburo’s meeting held on June 6, 2025, regarding the reassignment, appointment, nomination, and election of a Vice President of the VFF Central Committee for the 2024-2029 term.

Accordingly, Ha Thi Nga, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the 15th National Assembly delegation of Tuyen Quang Province relinquished her positions in the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and her role as Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term. She has been reassigned, appointed, and nominated to be elected as Vice President of the VFF Central Committee for the 2024-2029 term.

Do Trong Hung also announced Decision No. 2142-QĐNS/TW of the Politburo on personnel affairs. According to the decision, Ha Thi Nga was approved by the Politburo to step down from her duties as a member of the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee and as Provincial Party Secretary for the 2020-2025 term; she is now appointed to the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the VFF and central mass organizations for the 2020-2025 term. This decision takes effect from July 1, 2025.

In his remarks at the conference, Do Van Chien congratulated Ha Thi Nga on the trust placed in her by the Politburo for her new assignment. He remarked that Ha Thi Nga had risen from the grassroots level and held several leadership roles, including President of the Vietnam Women's Union and Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee. He expressed confidence that in her new position, Ha Thi Nga, together with the leadership of the VFF Central Committee, would promote unity and fulfill the duties entrusted by the Party, State, and people.

In her remarks upon taking the new position, Ha Thi Nga expressed her deep understanding of the honor and responsibility entrusted to her by the Politburo. She pledged to earnestly heed directions, concretize the tasks assigned, continue to cultivate political qualities, enhance her professional competence, and uphold the traditions and experience of her predecessors to fulfill her responsibilities effectively.
