Every spring, as white ban flowers blanket the forests of the Northwest, Tham Le Cave - known as the Love Cave of the Thai people in Muong Lo, recalls a time when young men and women gathered to meet and get to know one another through the sounds of the khèn and pí flutes and traditional courtship songs. Although these old customs have gradually faded, memories of a place filled with love and affection continue to be preserved and passed down by local artisans as a cherished part of the ethnic community's cultural heritage.
