At the thematic workshop “Promoting the Development of a Green Economy, Circular Economy, and Sustainable Environmental Protection,” held on December 4 within the framework of the 5th International Conference on Cooperation between Vietnam and Foreign Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), speakers discussed cooperation outcomes in the field of natural resources and environment for the 2020-2025 period and explored orientations to promote the green economy and circular economy in the coming time.

Within the framework of the 5th International Conference on Cooperation between Vietnam and Foreign Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), partners for prosperity and sustainable development, held on December 4, numerous foreign NGOs along with central and local agencies proposed strengthening coordination, expanding public-private cooperation, improving legal facilitation, and enhancing financial flexibility to increase aid effectiveness. Key priorities for the coming period include green growth, digital transformation, climate adaptation, support for women and vulnerable communities, smart agricultural development, and strengthening local capacities.

On December 4 at the National Convention Center (Hanoi), the Committee for Foreign Non-Governmental Organization Affairs and the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) organized the 5th International Conference on Cooperation between Viet Nam and Foreign Non-Governmental Organizations, partners for prosperous and sustainable development. Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son attended and delivered the Conference’s directive remarks.
