The Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in collaboration with the embassies of several Arab and Islamic countries in Vietnam—such as Kuwait, Palestine, Libya, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Brunei, Malaysia, and Iran—organized the Eid al-Fitr celebration in Hanoi on March 31.

Eid al-Fitr is one of the most important holidays for Muslims. The event marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan. Ramadan occurs at the ninth month of the Islamic moon calendar. For Muslims, it is a spiritually charged and blessed time when Muslims fast, pray and contemplate.
