On October 19, the Vietnam Institute of Strategy and Policy for Industry and Trade (Ministry of Industry and Trade) organized a seminar "Strategic orientation for the development of Vietnam' steel industry to 2030, with a vision to 2050."

Vietnam's iron and steel exports industry have enjoyed a rapid growth of 71,9% in first two months of 2021, compared to the same period of last year, with leading domestic firms such Hoa Phat and Hoa Sen exporting large shipments.
