Cooperation and exchange between Vietnamese and Japanese localities, and Kyushu particularly, have developed strongly. Localities of both sides signed many documents to promote friendly relations and cooperation in investment promotion, agriculture, human resource training, eco-industry, and environment.

Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang appreciated the Vietnamese community in Kyushu - a young, dynamic, enthusiastic community - that has recently made many contributions to the representative agency's foreign affairs work.

A centre to promote the Kyushu region of Japan is scheduled to be established in Hanoi in early 2020 under an agreement signed in Hanoi on November 25.
