From July 1, 2025, Vietnam officially implements a two-tier local government model nationwide. Many overseas Vietnamese in Laos, Israel, and Indonesia have expressed strong support for this policy, while also voicing high expectations for a significant transformation of the administrative apparatus toward greater effectiveness, efficiency, transparency, and proximity to the people.
