Currently, Thailand maintains deep economic ties with some different global suppliers. Meanwhile, sources said that the future BrahMos deal would mark another milestone for India in expanding its defense export footprint.

The nation has previously cooperated the missile system with the Philippines and continues to engage in export discussions with Indonesia and the UAE.

The BrahMos missile was jointly developed by India’s Defence Research and Development Organisation and Russia’s NPO Mashinostroyeniya.

Since its inception in the early 2000s, the product has received multiple variants to expand firepower for multidomain strikes.
