The Communist Party of Vietnam's exhibition opens in Hanoi

An exhibition entitled ‘Our Party is Great’ will take place at the Vietnam Culture and Arts Exhibition Centre in Hanoi from January 18 to 24 as an event to celebrate the 91st founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and the 13th National Party Congress.

The “Dang ta that la vi dai!” (Our Party is great) exhibition is being co-organised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the National Library of Vietnam, the Vietnam Military History Museum, and the Museum of Vietnamese Youth, according to the VNA.

The event, takes place from January 18-24 at the Vietnam Art and Cultural Exhibition Center, No. 2 Hoa Lu, Hai Ba Trung district, Hanoi, is aimed at praising the leading role of the Communist Party of Vietnam in the process of national liberation and construction as well as the achievements of the country during the past years.

Works on display at the exhibition will include photos and documents on the history of the Party, and the Party’s leadership in the country’s struggle for national liberation as well as in the renewal process.

There are displays honouring contributions made by Vietnamese People’s army, public security sector, and the Vietnamese youth to the country’s construction and defence.

It features multiple sections, including one displaying photos and documents on the CPV’s history.

The exhibits also include nearly 200 publications on the Party’s leadership, Party building work in Vietnam, and Vietnam’s achievements in the development and international integration process, said the Nhandan.

In addition, around 60 posters on the subject the 13th National Party Congress will be introduced to the public.

The exhibition aims to educate the younger generation on the country’s traditions, thus inspiring patriotism, national pride and trust in the Party and President Ho Chi Minh.

Some 200 photos, 100 documents and exhibits, along with nearly 250 publications are being on display, telling how the Party led the Vietnamese people to independence and recorded great achievements during the “Doi moi” (renewal) process and the era of international integration, as well as Party building efforts today.

Of particular note, images of the previous 12 National Party Congresses and nearly 60 posters featuring the 13th National Party Congress are also on showcase in a separate section.

Another section exhibits photos on the contributions made by the Vietnam People’s Army and the People’s Public Security in the construction and safeguarding of the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.

Photos, documents, and other exhibits depicting the trust of Vietnamese youth in the CPV’s leadership and how they have followed President Ho Chi Minh’s words are showcased.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong said that the exhibition aims to highlight the CPV’s leadership during the country’s struggle for independence, “Doi moi” (renewal) process, and national construction, and the Vietnamese people’s achievements in constructing and safeguarding the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.

This is also an opportunity to disseminate and educate traditional patriotism, revolutionary struggle, faith and pride in the Party and Uncle Hoamong people from all walks of life, especially the young generation.

The exhibition presents photographs and documents related to the birth of the Communist Party of Vietnam and its leadership in the cause of national liberation, as well as the process of building and defending socialism in Vietnam.

There are also two thematic displays called “The contribution of the army and the people's public security forces in the cause of building and defending the fatherland of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam” and “The Vietnamese Youth proudly advance under the glorious Party’s flag", reported Hanoitimes.

In addition, the exhibition also shows about 200 publications about the struggle of the Vietnamese people for national independence in the past and the current process of national construction and defense; and the country's achievements in the process of renewal, development, and international integration under the leadership of the Communist Party.

It is also to foster patriotism, especially of the youths, he added.

The event will run until January 24.
