Tien Giang fulfills 2016 state budget collection
The Mekong delta province of Tien Giang fulfilled state budget collection for 2016, two months ahead the year’s schedule, said Mr. Phung Van Minh, Deputy Head of the provincial Department of Taxation.

Accordingly, by early November 2016, Tien Giang collected over VND4.189 trillion to the state budget, up 0.86% of the estimate or a year-on-year rise of 29.5%. The collection was mainly from foreign-invested area, land using right granting, land hiring, environmental protection tax, and inpidual income tax.
Go Cong town and Co Cong Tay district are among the localities with the budget collection reaching and exceeding the estimate.
So far, 3,883 enterprises in the locality has implemented online tax declaration and payment.
Tien Giang was assigned to fulfill VND4.154 trillion of domestic tax collection, including VND3,123 trillion in provincial area and over VND1.030 trillion in districts, city and towns.
The province is expected to collect over VND4.94 trillion from tax in 2016, up 8.92% of the year’s estimate or up 27.5% over a year earlier./.
