The Vietnam–US relations is remarkable. From the painful legacy of war to the establishment of a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for peace, cooperation, and sustainable development, the two nations have traveled a long, complex, and courageous path. Once adversaries, they have chosen to “leave the past behind, overcome differences, promote similarities, and look toward the future.”
