At the meeting, General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo Member and Minister of Public Security, highly appreciated the experience and capabilities of Leonardo, one of Italy's and Europe's leading high-tech industrial groups.

Leonardo has strengths in defense, security, aerospace, helicopters, electronics, and digital technologies. The company also develops a wide range of solutions in cybersecurity, command and control systems, radar, sensors, border surveillance, and the protection of critical infrastructure and key systems.

According to Minister Luong Tam Quang, Vietnam is accelerating the development of science and technology, innovation, and national digital transformation, while improving the legal framework, promoting the defense and security industry, and attracting advanced technologies from abroad.

This provides a foundation for the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam to expand cooperation with the world's leading technology companies, including Leonardo, in research, technology transfer, human resource training, and the development of modern solutions to safeguard national security, maintain social order and safety, and combat crime.

The Minister proposed that Leonardo strengthen exchanges with the Ministry's relevant units on its advanced technologies, while sharing experience in the application of artificial intelligence, AI Vision, big data analytics, cloud computing, data center development, and digital platforms serving management, command, and operational activities.

The two sides were also encouraged to cooperate in training high-quality human resources, transferring technology, and implementing joint research programs aligned with practical needs, existing conditions, and development orientations.

Daniele Tavano expressed his admiration for Vietnam's development potential and affirmed that Leonardo would continue to study and implement key cooperative projects, contributing to the further advancement of relations between the two countries.
