A Vietnam-Japan student exchange program will take place in the Japanese prefecture of Nagasaki from July 9-20, with four teachers and 26 high school students in Ho Chi Minh City taking part.
Participants will have a chance to visit new energy plants and labs, experience industrial production in Nagasaki and attend model lectures in local universities.

Takushima Toshio, President of the association, said Nagasaki is strong in industry with high technological standard and skilled engineers.
The association wants to establish a solid relationship between the two localities’ education and industry sectors, thereby increasing human resources for Vietnamese and Japanese small- and medium-sized enterprises in the future, he said.
Nagasaki business representatives also committed to speeding up launching cooperation programs with Ho Chi Minh City’s vocational training establishments.
Both sides agreed to intensify collaboration across industry, high-tech agriculture and fisheries processing./.
