Vietnam Times online news launches Russian version

On June 17^th in Hanoi, the Vietnam Union of Vietnam Frienship Organizaions held a ceremony to launch the Vietnam Times online news' Russian version, which can be found at the address: huunghivietnga.com.vn .

Vietnam Times online news' Russian version was launched to provide information on the guidelines and policies of the Party and the State; and promote the image of the country and Vietnamese people to Russian speaking countries. This is a channel to reflect the friendship and exchange activities of people, enterprises, arts and culture, overseas compatriots’ life and political relations between Vietnam and Russian speaking countries.

Mr Vu Xuan Hong, chairman of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, said the Vietnam Times online news' Russian version would be a bridge to convey the official necessary information to international friends, the overseas Vietnamese community as well as Vietnamese at home. This is also a media channel and effective exchange forum for people around the world to learn, exchange and cooperate with the people and enterprises of Vietnam, especially between the people of Russian speaking countries and Vietnam’s.

The Russian version has 10 main sections: Political and Social, Economy, Vietnamese Family, Borders and territories, Vietnam – Russia friendship, Russia today, Travel, Friends around the world, World, and Photo reports.
