VIFOTEC cooperates with KIPA to promote science and technology in Vietnam
(VNF) - On August 23 in Hanoi, the Vietnam Fund For Supporting Techonological Creations (VIFOTEC) and the Korea Invention Promotion Association (KIPA) signed a cooperation agreement to promote the creation of Science and Technology in Vietnam.
On the occasion of KIPA President Dr. Lee Joon Seok coming to Vietnam and working with VIFOTEC, the two sides agreed to sign a cooperation agreement on the oganization of the Seoul international invention fair (SIIF).
The signing ceremony was attended by Professor, Dr of Science Dang Vu Minh, President of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA), Pham Van Tan, Permanent Vice Chairman and Secretary General of VUSTA, Dr. Nghiem Vu Khai - Vice President of VUSTA; Dr. Le Xuan Thao, Standing Vice President of VIFOTEC; Mr. Le Dang Tho, Director of VIFOTEC.

According to the cooperation agreement, VIFOTEC will be the intermediary for Vietnamese authors to participate in the Seoul international invention fair (SIIF). As such, registration procedures for participation in SIIF by Vietnamese authors must be done through VIFOTEC. KIPA will assist VIFOTEC in promoting and supporting Vietnamese authors.
VIFOTEC will guide the authors to register for exhibitions, promote exhibition materials such as leaflets, brochures, posters. VIFOTEC will receive application from the Vietnamese side as well as establish delegations to participate in SIIF.

Aslo on the signing ceremony, KIPA President - Dr. Lee Joon Seak gave a speech to Vietnamese scientists on "Managing and Supporting Intellectual Property Activities". The speech attracts discussion of numerous Vietnamese scientists.
